Delivery

• All orders placed before Midday are processed within 2-3 working days and sent via Royal Mail 24/48 Tracked service. Although this service is stated as 24/48 this is not guaranteed, from time to time delays can occur due to events that are out of our control. 

• Please allow up to 5 days for delivery to the UK for all Personalised Gifts. From time to time delays can happen due to events that are out of our control. So if your item is needed for a specific date please contact us before ordering. 

• We expect to ship your order within 2-3 days of processing.

• If any extra costs delivery costs incur for unseen or unforeseeable we will contact you before processing the order

• If you need to receive your order before a certain time of day, please just ask us and we will be happy to give you a price to deliver the item at a specific time

• The company reserves the right to amend postage prices at any time without warning

• The Company reserves the right to cancel transactions at any time without prior warning

• Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation.

• We use a number of third party delivery agents to ensure your orders are delivered to you as quickly as possible. Any losses after the item has been dispatched from our website must be reported to us.

• For deliveries before a UK bank holiday, we recommend that you order in advance. For Christmas deliveries, we recommend that you order by the 18th December. During holiday periods, we will endeavour to dispatch all ‘in stock’ orders within 24 hours, however we cannot guarantee delivery as the post may be delayed in your area.

Shipping

 UK Mainland, Ireland and the Scottish Isles

• Orders are dispatched by a courier of our choice and will generally arrive within 2 - 5 working days from the date you place your order. Please allow up to 14 days for unforeseen circumstances.

• Recorded delivery items will arrive with your normal post but require a signature.

• Courier delivery items will require a signature.

• Please make sure you are available to sign for your delivery. If no person is available to sign for your delivery a card will be posted informing you that a delivery attempt was made; it is deemed to be your responsibility to contact/collect from the courier in question.

Returns  

• As a valued customer we want you to be happy with what you’ve ordered. If you’re not completely satisfied with the product(s) you’ve bought then simply return it to us at any time within 14 working days of receipt. This offer excludes personalised items.

If the non-personalised goods are returned within 7 working days of receipt then we will happily issue a full refund including postage and packing, or an exchange.
Should you return an item because of an error on our part or if it’s defective, then we’ll refund the full value of the item and your costs in returning it to us. You can contact us on info@originalmonkey.co.uk

• If the unwanted items are returned in their original condition including tags & packaging, we will refund you any money which you have paid us for those items, or offer you an alternative product of similar value as a replacement if required.

• If an order is returned to us because no one has been at the shipping address to receive the items and no other arrangement has been made between the customer and the couriers, the item will be refunded minus the cost of the delivery and the return delivery back to us.

• If the customer has refused delivery with no mistake on our part and the item is returned to us, the customer is liable for the cost of the delivery and the return delivery back to us.

• Refusal of correct deliveries is deemed to be breaking our terms and conditions unless there is a mistake with the order or the order has been damaged in transit.

• No refunds can be given until return goods have been received.

• All returned goods will be refunded at the company’s discretion.

• All packaging will be accessed at the company’s discretion.

• For large and/or expensive items, we may arrange for a courier to collect your purchase. In this event, we will contact you to arrange a collection time that is convenient for you. If there is no error on our part, we will need to deduct the cost of the service from your refund

• You have the right to appeal any decision made by the company through proper legal channels.
